Pothole & Asphalt Surface Repair Across Kansas

A pothole is almost never just a surface problem. Water has already reached the base, softened it, and the traffic on top has punched through. Patching over the hole without dealing with what is underneath buys a few months. We cut back to sound material, fix the base where it needs it, and compact the patch so it holds.

When you need it

Signs your pavement is asking for pothole & surface repair

  • Open holes, broken edges, or chunks of asphalt working loose
  • Alligator cracking — a tight, interconnected pattern like dried mud
  • Areas that sink or hold standing water after every rain
  • Soft or spongy spots under vehicle tyres
  • Crumbling edges where the pavement meets grass or gravel

What the work includes

What we actually do on site

Saw-cut, square patches

Failed material is cut back to solid pavement on straight lines, not feathered into the hole, so the patch has real edges to lock against.

Base repair where it is needed

If the base is wet or soft, patching the surface alone is wasted money. We dig it out and rebuild the support before the asphalt goes back.

Compacted hot or cold mix

Mix chosen for the season and the repair, laid in lifts and rolled so the patch sits flush and does not settle into a new dip.

Edge and trip-hazard work

Broken lips, raised seams and crumbling edges cleaned up — the details that turn into liability claims when someone catches a toe.

How it runs

Three moves, start to finish

01

Free on-site inspection

We look at each failure and tell you which ones are surface-level and which are base failures, so you know what you are actually paying to fix.

02

Cut, clean and rebuild

Square out the area, haul off the failed material, and repair the base where the inspection called for it.

03

Fill, compact, re-open

Mix laid and compacted flush with the surrounding surface, then the area goes back into service.

Questions we get

Straight answers

Can you repair potholes in winter?
Yes. Cold-weather repairs are done with the appropriate mix to keep a lot safe and drivable, with permanent work scheduled when conditions allow.
Do I need repair or a whole new surface?
If the failures are scattered, repair is usually the answer. If most of the surface is cracked through, resurfacing costs less over time. Our inspection gives you a straight answer.
How long does a repair take?
Most patching jobs on a single lot or driveway are done in a day. We will tell you on site what to expect and which areas need to stay clear.
